Preparation for your appointment

1. Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment.

• • Use as close of a shave as possible. For the first treatment you have, you should leave only a small hair patch so the specialist can examine it and then shave it off.
  • For Bikini, do not shave where you are keeping hair.

2. Do not use any cosmetics such as lotion, makeup, or deodorant on the same day as your treatment.

3. Avoid direct sunlight for 3 days before and after your treatment.

4. Avoid tanning sprays or self-tanner for 2 weeks prior to treatment.

5. Avoid alcoholic drinks 24 hours before treatment.

6. Avoid tweezing, waxing, or threading for at least 4 weeks. You may still shave.

Also important:

• We cannot treat pregnant women.
• Bikini service can’t be performed during menstruation.

After Treatment Care

1. It is normal to see bumps and redness. Treating bumps or redness is common and may last around 2 hours. They can be helped with antibiotic cream or more if your skin is darker.

2. The area that was treated must be cleaned gently. Use a mild-strength soap. Also, pat the area down for up to 48 hours after treatment.

3. No cosmetics or hygiene products for 24 hours. Avoid all creams and products for 24 hours after treatment.

4. Expect that dead hairs will shed 5 to 30 days following treatment. All dead hairs including stubble tend to quickly fall out and will continue to shed for up to 30 days.

5. You may exfoliate to help the shedding process. After 5 to 30 days, shedding occurs and an exfoliating cloth will help with this.

6. Avoid exposure to the sun. Stay in shady areas following 2 weeks of treatment to not create light spots on the skin, then continue to use sunscreen for the following months.

7. Avoid abrading the area. Avoid picking or scratching treated skin and only use shaving cream on the treatment area until after finished for best results.

8. The growth of leftover hair varies. People can expect hairlessness after 6 or 9 sessions and may not even experience stubble.
